The number of registered users of the largest crypto exchange in the world has reached 150 million, according to Binance CEO. “This week, Binance Japan was officially launched, Binance itself received an operating license in Dubai, two new start-up pools of Binance $CYBER and $SEI appeared, the audience of the exchange reached 150 million registered users,” Changpeng Zhao listed the achievements. According to the Finder service, by the end of 2022, the number of registered users of Binance was 128 million. For comparison, the number of users of the largest American crypto exchange Coinbase does not exceed 98 million people. Binance is now under scrutiny from US regulators, including the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Binance previously announced that it had withdrawn its application for a German Financial Service (BaFin) license. It was recently revealed that Chinese Binance users account for about 20% of the platform’s transactions.
